Red and green argillite pebbles and cobbles in Saint Mary Lake

Mountains in Glacier Nat'l Park are composed of sedimentary rocks. The red and green argillite pebbles and cobbles are glacial erosion "till" deposited by melting glaciers in what has become Saint Mary Lake.
